A video game turns into a real world nightmare when an enraged paraplegic uses the game to take over the mind of another player to get revenge on those responsible for his paralysis.

SOUND FROM A STAR by Fred Yager (Member, WGA East)

Genre: (sci-fi) Sci-fi meets hi-fi.

A teenager picks up strange music on his satellite dish that he’s convinced comes from an extraterrestrial. (The novel Sound from a Star was published by Hannacroix Creek Books in 2011. It’s available in print and e-book formats. An audio book version is in preparation.)

A criminology professor joins forces with a reluctant homicide detective to track down the killer of her best friend, someone who already has her on a list of potential victims.

Explores the relationship between a 20-year-old woman named Tom, and Stanley, a 19-year-old woman who wanders into Tom’s apartment as he goes door to door in a Bronx apartment building, selling merchandise made by the blind. (Published in In the Great Together.)
